Infant Massage

Join us for Infant Massage Class #3: “Arm & Hands Routine and Gentle Movements”
For new parents with newborns (6 weeks) to pre-crawling babies. 
This routine covers techniques known to help with motor development, some torticollis relief, cross-lateral movements, and gentle stretches. 
Did you know that infant massage is one of the most effective ways to relieve constipation, gas and colic in newborns, and a 99% effective cure for postpartum depression? It can be done at home with you and your baby any time of day, or as a bedtime routine (a lovely accompaniment to bath-time). Come learn the full body routine for your baby in this 4-class series!

*Partners, grandparents or another caregiver welcome to join too.
Cost: $89 for 4-class series. $25 drop-in. 4-class series is recommended to learn the Full Body Routine, but drop-ins may be accepted on a case by case basis.
-Makeup classes available. 
-All classes are baby led, allowing time for breast feeding, naps and diaper changes. 
-Dress comfy, casual (sweats are fine)!

About the instructor: Summer Menkee is a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (IAIM) who started her practice in Los Angeles after the birth of her first-born son Sage. She learned Indian Baby Massage techniques from her mother-in-law (from Northern India), then got certified through the International Association of Infant Massage. Summer worked closely with Los Angeles Pediatrician Dr. Edmond Sarraf working with private clients in-home. Some of Summer‘s private clients have included Noah Wylie (The Librarians, Falling Skies, E.R.), and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper, Inception).
