Midwife

Anna grew up in Roswell, GA. She earned her first degree from Mercer University in Global Health. Upon graduation, Anna enrolled at Emory University to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Throughout her time at Emory, Anna volunteered at the Atlanta Birth Center. She saw the immense impact of the compassionate and holistic midwifery care offered at the birth center. Desiring to broaden her medical knowledge, Anna worked as a nurse in the emergency room upon graduation from Emory University in 2019. Although she gained valuable experience from her time in the emergency room, Anna still felt called to be a part of the empowering birth experience that she witnessed at the Atlanta Birth Center. She decided to join ABC as a birth assistant, while also studying midwifery at Emory University. During her midwifery education, Anna was able to have her rotations in a variety of high and low risk settings including the Birth Center. Now Anna is back in a new role as a midwife fellow. Anna feels honored to provide support to our clients and their families as they welcome new life into this world.
