Kyra Jackson, RN

RN Birth Center Nurse

Raised in a rural town in South Georgia, Kyra has been a Registered Nurse since 2021, with a focus on labor and delivery throughout her career. After earning her BSN from Mercer University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was among the top ten percent of her class, Kyra spent two and a half years on the Labor and Delivery unit at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. During this time, she developed strong clinical skills and a deep confidence in her role as a birth worker.

In the summer of 2023, Kyra began her Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) program at Frontier Nursing University, which inspired her to explore birth from a more holistic and natural perspective. This led her to join the team at ABC in July 2024, where she has continued to nurture her passion for supporting families during birth in a more personalized and empowering way.

Kyra is deeply committed to patient empowerment, evidence-based practice, and providing person-centered care.

Outside of work and school, Kyra enjoys spending time with her cat, Calliope, taking walks with her dog, Polo, and trying her hand at keeping houseplants alive. She also enjoys binge-watching reality TV shows with her partner.
